Chicken Scratch

This is a fun practice piece so you don't have to complete a project - just try it! I will be providing a 6 x 6 inch piece gingham fabric (colors are light blue, yellow, pink, and pale green). If you have gingham in a color you prefer, please bring your own fabric.

Material List:

• Gingham fabric; provided by Karen

• 4 inch hoop

• #7 or #8 crewel or sharp needle

• #26 tapestry or blunt needle (optional)

• Floss - white and a couple of colors or variegated (pearl cotton and be used instead of the white if your check is 1/4" and larger)
