At each CNY EGA meeting, we take an adventure in needle art through various projects. Needle art is a product created with a needle. Some examples of needle art are embroidery, needlepoint, tapestry, appliqué, beading, and more. All levels of experience are welcome, even if you have no experience. Come and meet new people and learn about needle art.
This month at CNY EGA...
One member will show us how to create beaded bookmarks. You will learn the beading techniques and how to attach the finished product to the ribbon to make it a bookmark. You can adjust this technique to make pendants or earrings. Here's a list of materials needed or our members may share from their stash.
Materials needed:

Beads (11/0, 8/0 and 4mm bicone beads)

Nylon thread

Beading needle

Ribbon (½-1” wide) and a charm.
